We will celebrate Thanksgiving Mass on Thursday, November 25th at 9:15 AM. Immediately following Mass, we will have Brunch and ask that each family brings a breakfast item to share.

OLOL Christmas Coffeehouse 

Christmas Coffeehouse

Our highly anticipated Christmas Coffeehouse is returning! Join us on December 19th for our Christmas Coffeehouse. Doors to the Coffeehouse will open at 6:00 PM and the show will begin at 6:30. Join us for our Live Nativity, beginning at 4:30. We will be selling tickets in the Narthex after each Mass beginning on December 4th . Tickets are $20 per family, $5 for individuals. All proceeds go to support Lakehouse’s mission trip to Catholic Heart Work Camp.

 

Moms PLUS Blanket Drive

Blanket Drive for Crisis Pregnancy Center

Moms PLUS, a Family Life ministry, is hosting a Blanket Drive to benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center. They will be collecting new or gently used blankets of all sizes -OR- 2.5 yards of fleece material so they can make blankets. There is a box in the narthex where you can leave your donation. Thank you for your generosity.

Surviving Divorce

Join the Surviving Divorce facilitators for a roundtable discussion of surviving the holidays amid a divorce or separation. You will find support to plan a meaningful Christmas season.Surviving Divorce Begins January 2022! Surviving Divorce was created to bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. It is for the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later. Surviving Divorce will help find answers to questions, restore hope, and begin authentic healing!Please join us as we find comfort and counsel consistent with Catholic Church teachings.

Faith Formation Opportunities 

Children's Faith Formation

The Children’s Faith Formation Office is looking to restart our parish’s Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atriums next year! If you have worked with CGS in the past as a catechist or would be interested in learning more about CGS at OLOL, please contact Gabriel at GabrielH@ololcconline.com. He is planning a trip to visit a parish with active CGS atria and to work on hosting a training at our parish for those interested in being a catechist for this wonderful model of faith formation! Thank you.

Donated Coats Available for Children

 

Young Adult ministry

Calling all Catholic Young Adults in their 20’s and 30’s who are over the age of 21 and are looking for a community of peers! Come join our Thursday night Bible Study. We meet at 6:30 in the Lakehouse Youth Room (downstairs off St. Joseph Hall.) This Bible Study is a weekly gathering for our growing community. Come join us and help us build a brand-new community for Young Adults here at Our Lady of the Lake!
